Actor and singer Chord Overstreet has teamed up with Trout Unlimited and created a charity t-shirt.
Overstreet is currently running a Represent campaign where his charity shirt will be on sale for the next two weeks. 100 percent of the proceeds from every shirt sold will go to Trout Unlimited’s mission to preserve our fisheries and Save the Trout.
Overstreet used to star on the hit television show Glee where he quickly got the nickname ‘Trouty Mouth’. The actor and his agent, Anthony Hillsberg, contacted Trout Unlimited directly to propose a collaboration. Overstreet wanted to do an awareness campaign because he is a fisherman himself.

According to their website, Trout Unlimited volunteers donated more than 650,000 hours in service to their communities. More than 40,000 children also benefited from their commitment to youth education, and more than 2800 veterans found the healing power of time spent on the water. More than 35 college campuses hosted TU affiliate chapters in their 5 Rivers program.
In the past year alone, Trout Unlimited succeeded in:
– Protecting nearly 1400 stream miles across the US and 7.8 million acres of land.
– Reconnecting over 570 miles of spawning and rearing habitat for fish, and
– Restoring over 140 miles of river.
